CIAC AGM - 11/17 at 7pm in Tyber Creek
Help us achieve our fundraising goals in building the Charlotte Irish-American Center (CIAC).
On June 9, 2021, JD Harris of Glory Days Apparel and Rich Saner of RockHouse Events presented both Ken Lee, President CIAC and Gretchen Rohleder of Cystic Fibrosis Foundation - Western Carolinas Chapter, each with a $6000 donation from its fundraiser in remembrance of Jeff Bennett.
We are overwhelmed by everyone's support and the result of this fundraiser reflects the esteem that people far and wide held for Jeff Bennett.
Jeff was a vital member of the Irish-American community, who served on the Carolina Irish Fest Committee and was a co-founder of RockHouse Events with Rich Saner. Rich and Bennett founded the St. Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl, and have grown it to be the largest pub crawl in the world. Jeff’s (aka Bennett) legacy will live on forever in this community.
The CIAC and the wider Charlotte Irish and Irish American Community would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Glory Days Apparel and RockHouse Events for their generosity.
We are grateful for all the community support and donations towards the construction of the CIAC. To watch the Fest and donate, please click learn more.
